Valentina Christen-Zihlmann, lawyer, studied law at the University of Lucerne (graduation 2014). During her exchange semesters in Geneva and Chicago, she gained experience in international contract law (lectures Drafting International Business Agreements and Les relations économiques en droit international privé). After being admitted to the bar in spring 2016, she worked for a leading auditing firm and subsequently for a Zug law firm specialising in commercial law. There she discovered her flair for technology law, IT law, life sciences law and data protection.
Since 2018, Valentina Christen-Zihlmann has been writing a dissertation in this field in parallel with her work and is constantly deepening her knowledge in the doctoral programme at the University of Basel on technological change in law. With her proven expert knowledge, Valentina Christen-Zihlmann provides her clients with well thought-out and at the same time practical legal information that will help them to move forward.
Valentina Christen-Zihlmann works for Swiss Infosec AG in consulting and training in the areas of data protection and IT law and supports our customers by creating customer-specific concepts, guidelines or instructions. She deals with legal questions of all kinds, especially in the field of data protection, and is also available to our customers as an external data protection officer according to the GDPR and as an operational data protection officer according to the FADP. Valentina Christen-Zihlmann provides legal services in German, English and French.
