Roberto Maccioni completed his training as an IT specialist EFZ with a specialisation in systems engineering in 2021. Thanks to the knowledge he acquired during his initial training, he was able to tackle his first challenges as a network engineer after graduating. In this role, he deepened his network skills in particular and obtained Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
In his subsequent role as an IT security analyst in a Security Operations Centre (SOC), Roberto Maccioni gained extensive practical experience in detecting, analysing and managing IT security incidents. In the process, he developed a deep understanding of security operations, incident response and the operational management of security solutions.
He was able to continuously expand his expertise and skills through further training to obtain the Swiss Federal Certificate as a Cyber Security Specialist, certification as an ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor, and by working on several customer projects. In recent years, his professional focus has increasingly shifted to security operations, with a particular emphasis on Microsoft cloud security. In this context, he deepened his knowledge of the operational implementation, monitoring and optimisation of cloud security across multiple tenants and obtained several Microsoft security certifications.
A Burp Suite Certified Practitioner (BSCP) certification further demonstrates his practical skills in web security and penetration testing. This broad skill set makes Roberto Maccioni a versatile IT security consultant at Swiss Infosec AG with a strong focus on modern cloud and security operations approaches.
