The ICT lawyer and attorney at law completed his law studies in Zurich and subsequently gained extensive experience in the telecommunications industry in various roles and functions. Most recently, he was a member of the executive board at SwissSign AG, where he was responsible for Legal, Compliance, Finance and HR. He is a pragmatic “doer” and solution-oriented team player with a soft spot for digitalisation topics.
Michael Widmer is head of the Legal & Data Privacy Consulting team and a member of the Executive Board of Swiss Infosec AG. With the support of his team, he advises companies, public institutions and non-profit organisations in a competent and practice-oriented manner on all issues concerning data protection and ICT law. He shares his knowledge at Swiss Infosec AG training courses and is a data protection officer for various companies and organisations, advising his clients in German and English.
