Dimitri Korostylev studied law in Germany at the University of Augsburg. He was admitted to the bar at the end of 2016. Before working in Switzerland, Mr Korostylev worked in Munich as a lawyer in a leading law firm in the insurance sector. Since the beginning of 2018, Dimitri Korostylev has worked in Switzerland and Liechtenstein in several financial institutions as legal counsel in the areas of legal & compliance (corporate law, contract drafting, insurance and fund law, etc.). He also held various positions, including data protection officer and outsourcing manager. He is also a certified Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) and a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) and a member of the IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professionals).
In the course of implementing all required measures according to the GDPR and the Swiss Data Protection Act in 2018 as the responsible data protection officer, he discovered his passion for consulting in IT and data protection law.
Dimitri Korostylev works at Swiss Infosec AG in consulting and training in the areas of data protection, IT law and legal & compliance and supports our clients by creating customised concepts, guidelines or directives. He deals with legal issues of all kinds and is also available to our customers in particular as an external data protection officer in accordance with the GDPR and company data protection officer (BDSV) in accordance with the Data Protection Act. He provides his services in German, English and Russian.
