Managing Consultant
Cornel Furrer, Managing Consultant, has gained comprehensive leadership experience and extensive knowledge in the areas of organisational, quality, human resources and team development through his education and many years of practical experience as a secondary school teacher (Phil II), headteacher of medium-sized schools, IT manager at a large industrial company and as an independent management consultant. Mr Furrer is a mediator, a Certified Senior Project Manager (IPMA Level B), a BSI-certified Lead Auditor for ISO 27001 and ISO 22301, and a SWISSI-certified fire safety officer. He successfully manages large-scale projects of all kinds that involve high demands in the areas of integrated security and project management.
His areas of expertise include risk management, stakeholder management, business and service continuity management, emergency and crisis management, information security management, physical security management, awareness and audit management.
His goal-oriented and practical approach, as well as his communication skills when dealing with ‘sensitive issues’, are equally valued by clients. Furthermore, Cornel Furrer regularly draws on his skills to provide resource support for companies of all sizes, for example as a CISO, security officer, fire safety officer or project manager of any kind.
